E/MERGING WAVES - Art exhibition - DAYS 1-4
In this gathering of island and upland artistry, e/merging waves brings together works from indigenous and local artists whose practices flow from the textures of their homelands — from the mountain soils of Bukidnon to the coastal rhythms of Siargao.Here, we explore both the emerging and merging: Voices and visions rooted in ancestral land and ocean memory, and converging stories across geography, generation, and medium. Through a diverse display of multi-media artworks, including soil paintings, wood carvings, beadwork, ceramics, weaves, tribal crafts, and co-created artworks, this exhibition becomes a shoreline: A dynamic convergence of earth-based wisdom and instrinsic worldviews that echo kinship with land and sea, with community and culture.e/merging waves invites you to see in these pieces a shared call for reciprocity: To care for our environment and eachother, for just, transformative futures.
